Pioneer introduces the new Elite BDP-62FD 3D Blu-ray player with expaneded playback capability offering users more options for their movie and music. The player is equipped with Marvell Qdeo video processing technology to provide high-quality video processing for maximum performance and best image. It features HDMI 1080p/24 Hz output, 36-Bit Deep Color for accurate color reproduction and Pioneer’s Stream Smoother and three separate noise reduction circuits to decrease video noise.
Other than 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray, DVD, CD, Super Audio CD discs, the BDP-62FD also plays DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby TrueHD, DVD-Audio on disc, as well as DivX, MPEG-4, WMV, AVI, FLV Flash video, FLAC, MP3, WMA, WAV and JPEG files from disc, USB flash drive or hard drive or via home network. Using built-in Ethernet connection or optional AS-WL300 wireless adapter, the Elite Blu-ray player can access popular entertainment network services including Pandora, Netflix and YouTube. It also supports DLNA for wireless media streaming from DLNA-enabled devices such as smartphone, tablet and notebook.
The Elite BDP-62FD provides dual HDMI output that allows users to push content to two different displays such as a TV and projector simultaneously. It works with Pioneer’s iControlAV2012 App, meaning you can use your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch or Android smartphone as a basic remote control. It is priced at $399.
