Pioneer has introduced a new speaker soundbar system designed by speaker engineer Andrew Jones. Called SP-SB23W, the soundbar is unique with its composite wood cabinet enclosure. With a six speaker design, including four custom 3-inch woofers, and two 1-inch soft dome tweeters, the speaker is built to deliver “a wide dispersion pattern, enabling open, more spacious stereo imaging even in larger sized rooms”.
To offer the best sound, each of the six sound drivers get its individual amplifier, which is able to produce up to 28 watts of power. Pioneer’s new speaker bar features Dolby Digital decoding and provides three sound modes – music, movie and dialogue. It also comes with a wireless subwoofer with a 6.5-inch driver to provide low bass frequencies.
The Pioneer SP-SB23W speaker bar is coming in the Fall for $399.
