Pioneer introduces a new ultra compact DJ controller system. Called DDJ-WeGO, it is Pioneer’s most affordable controller to date with a price tag of $399. It comes with the Virtual DJ Limited Edition DJ software that is able to load music stored on a Windows PC or Mac. To make it easy for beginners to mix with built-in effects and features, the controller offers various visual and audio cues.
The DDJ-WeGO features multi-color LED backlighting for the jog wheel and the Jog FX function that allows users to combine multiple effects and control them simultaneously using the Jog wheel. The Pulse Control will provide users with visual prompts with a variety of colored lights on the Jog platters. For example, mix pulse mode shows the difference in pitch of songs currently playing through the light of the Jog wheel, and the FX Pulse will represent effects applied via light movements on the jog wheel.
Pioneer‘s new affordable DJ controller has built-in audio port for input and output and built-in sound card for expanded music storage and portability. As the WeGO is USB-powered, there’s no need for additional power supply. It is compact and weighs less than 4 pounds, making it easy to transport. You can pick from five body colors, white, black, red, green and violet, to match your own taste.
