JVC’s Sophisti line is a 3.1 system that works without wires. There are three models in Sophisti line, the DD-8, DD-3 and DD-1. All of them can decode Dolby Digital, DTS, and Pro Logic II. The DD-8 and DD-3 has HDMI digital connectivity with 720p upscaling while the DD-3 and DD-1 can wirelessly connect to your computer and playMP3, WMA, WAV, MPEG-4, JPEG and DivX files stored on your hard drive.
The DD-8 is the only model to include floor-standing speakers and they are available in UK and priced at £1,299 for the DD-8, £699 for the DD-3 and £499 for the DD-1.
