JVC introduces the new BlackSapphire line and the first model, the 55-inch JLE55SP4000 Full HD LED-backlit LCD HDTV with an ultra thin bezel design. The 55-inch HDTV features XinemaView 3D technology to deliver cinema-like 3D viewing experience and comes with four pairs of battery-free 3D glasses. It also includes XinemaSound 3D acoustic and post processing technologies and 45-watts of speaker output power to deliver a theater surround experience.
JVC’s new BlackSapphire JLE55SP4000 is a Smart HDTV with built-in WiFi 802.11n connectivity and I.C.E. (Internet Connected Experience) platform. Users can use the pre-loaded Netflix, YouTube, Vudu, Pandora to access Internet content and SlingPlayer TV streaming. It features Full HD 1920×1080 resolution, Edge LED-backlighting, 120Hz CrystalMotion frame rate for maximum clarity during fast-moving action, 20 Million:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 178/178-degree viewing angle as well as CrystalColor Enhancement and ambient light sensing for maximum picture quality.
The 55-inch BlackSapphire offers four HDMI inputs, one VGA input, component and composite video inputs. It also has two USB ports for direct media playback. The remote control has built-in QWERTY keyboard on the back for easy text input. JVC will ship the JLE55SP4000 3D Smart TV this month for $1299.99.
