JVC ships its Procision GC-PX100 high-performance digital camcorder designed capturing high-quality video of fast-moving action. With high bit-rate progressive recording, the camcorder offers high resolution HD images and high-speed recording for super slow-motion video. It also packs built-in WiFi connectivity for wireless transfer of images and video.
JVC‘s PX100 is equipped with a 1/2.3-inch 12.8 megapixel back-illuminated CMOS sensor and it shoots 1920×1080/60p Full HD video at 36Mbps, which according to JVC is a bit rate that allows Full HD slow-motion playback, perfect for motion analysis or special effects. Videos are recorded in AVCHD 2.0-compliant video, as well as MPEG-4 and .MOV formats. The camcorder provides five shooting speeds, ranging from 120fps to 600fps. It also includes high-speed digital still recording at up to 60fps and variable speed time-lapse recording. Users can also take 2.1 Megapixel still images while recording video, and grab bursts of nine still images from video at the touch of a button. The Zoom Position Memory allows quick switching among three angles of view — Full Wide, Full Tele, and a user-settable position in between.
The slow-mo Procision camcorder sports a F1.2 GT lens with 10x optical zoom and optical image stabilization. Its 3-inch tiltable display supports touch operation and a LCD monitor hood is included. With built-in WiFi connectivity, you can use a smartphone or tablet to wireless view and transfer images and video from the camcorder. SD/SDHC/SDXC are used for storage and mini HDMI output is provided.
