JVC has updates its ADIXXION line with the new GC-XA2 tat comes with enhanced features and improved image quality. Like the original GC-XA1, the new model is also quad-proof with water-, shock-, dust- and freeze-proof. It is waterproof to 5 meter and is able to withstand a drop from 2 meter. Other than durable rubber outer skin, you can also find shock-absorbent internal construction, watertight gasket-protected body casing.
JVC’s new action camera supports progressive Full HD 1920×1080 60/p video recording and 1280×720 high-speed recording at 120fps/100fps for 4x slow-motion playback. With built-in WiFi connectivity, the camcorder can do live streaming to USTREAM or smartphone, and upload video to YouTube wirelessly. There are Burst Mode that can take continuous shots at up to 15fps, time-lapse recording mode for photos and video and Simultaneous REC function for capturing video and photos at the same time. Four creative visual effects and included for your pictures unique.
The GC-XA2 is equipped with a 8 Megapixel back-illuminated CMOS sensor, a F2.4 super wide angle lens and a 1.5-inch LCD display. It also comes equipped with Gyro sensor for improved digital image stabilization. HDMI output is provided and SD/SDHC/SDXC cards are supported for storage. Coming in late July, the new ADIXXION is priced at $299.95.
