Kingmax announced its new MMP30 mSATA solid state drive using SATA III 6Gbps interface. With a compact form factor, Kingmax’s new SSD is an economical SSD solution for Ultrabooks, tablet PCs and small form factor systems. It is powered by LSI Sandforce controller, and offers up to 320MB/s read and 520MB/s write speeds.
With support for Intel’s Smart Response Technology, Kingmax’s MMP30 can be configured as a cache drive to enhance overall performance of the computer. It comes in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB.
