Super Talent’s Super Hybrid combines SSDs and HDDs on a PCIe Card

Super Talent introduces a unique high-speed storage solution that will come at a competitive price. The Super Hybrid solution combines a group of SSD with a hard drive and put them on a PCI-Express card. The hybrid system then become a high-performance storage system with up to 800MB/s read and write speeds.

The 1.2TB model has a 2.5-inch 1TB hard drive on the PCIe board and the 2.2TB model gets a 3.5-inch 2TB hard drive, with both of them come with a 192GB SSD for caching. The Hybrid drives come with Marvell Storage Utility pre-loaded for plug-and-play use. They are ideal for enterprise and consumers who are looking for high-speed storage at a low cost.
