Razer announced its new Kraken line of gaming headsets, including the Kraken Music and Gaming headphones and the Kraken Pro gaming headset. Both of them use 40mm Neodymium magnets sound drivers tuned for clear high and mid-ranges and deep bass. The Kraken Pro sports a fully retractable unidirectional microphone that can be adjusted to fit individual needs.
With ergonomically design amd optimized weight determined through field tests by professional gamers, these headsets allows comfortable use over extensive use. To keep gamers stay focused, a closed ear-cup design and leatherette ear cushion are used to create sound isolation. The Kraken and Kraken work with devices with 3.5mm audio jack, and the latter has a combined audio/mic jack and comes with Audio/Mic splitter adapter.
Coming in September, Razer’s Kraken and Kraken Pro are priced at $59.99 and $79.99, respectively.
