OCZ Technology unveis its new Agility 4 mainstream solid state drive powered by Indilinx Everest 2 controller. The latest addition to the Agility line uses SATA III 6Gbps interface and is based on 2x nm MLC NAND flash. It comes in 64GB, 128GB, 256GB and 512GB capacities, and provides up to 400MB/s read and 400MB/s write speeds, and up to 85,000 random write IOPS performance.
With Everest 2 controller, the Agility 4 offers enhanced endurance and reliability. The dual-core controller platform delivers advanced error correction code (ECC) engine, dynamic wear-leveling, auto encryption, and Indilinx Ndurance 2.0 technology that addresses and overcomes specific shortcomings of NAND flash memory to extend flash life. There is also support for TRIM command. The 2.5-inch Indilinx Infused SSD is equipped with up to 1GB of DRAM cache and features 256-bit AES-compliant data encryption.
The Agility 4 128GB model is priced at $139.99, 256GB at $289.99 and 512GB at $639.99.
