At the CES 2012, Toshiba expands its CAMILEO line with the new CAMILEO AIR10 and CAMILEO CLIP Full HD camcorders. The former has WiFi connectivity for users to wirelessly upload videos and photos directly to their social network, while the latter enables users to conveniently film their adventures hands-free.
The compact, candybar style CAMILEO AIR10 features a 5 Megapixel CMOS sensor with back side illumination technology, and a 2-inch LCD screen. It includes 16x digital zoom as well. With built-in WiFi, the camcorder can wirelessly upload videos and photos in 1080p Full HD to their computer and social networks, including YouTube, Facebook, Picasa and Twitvid from anywhere with a Wi-Fi connection. The AIR10 can also be used as a webcam.
The CAMILEO Z100 3D, on the other hand, is a camcorder with the ability to capture memories in both 2D and 3D. Like the AIR10, it is equipped with a 5 Megapixel backside illuminated CMOS sensor. It offers 120x digital zoom in 2D mode and 8x digital zoom in 3D mode, and comes with a 2.8-inch glasses-free 3D LCD touchscreen. The 3D camcorder has HDMI port for easy connection with 3D HDTV.
Toshiba’s CAMILEO AIR10 and CAMILEO Z100 3D will be available in the first half of 2012 for $149 and $219, respectively. Also at the CES 2012 is the CAMILEO CLIP, which has been announce last year. The CLIP will be released in first half of 2012 for $99.99 in dark blue, deep red, lime green and white colors.
