Pioneer releases the BDP-140 network-enabled 3D Blu-ray player with wireless capability. The player plays not only 1080p 24Hz 3D Blu-ray discs and ordinary Blu-ray Discs, but also SACD, DVD and CD. It supports latest high-quality formats including DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby TrueHD, and Super Audio CD. With HDMI 1.4a output, the player delivers Full HD 3D images. It can also handle DivX HD and DivX Plus HD (H.264/MKV) video up to 1080p.
With Ethernet LAN port, the Pioneer BDP-140 is able to connect to online streaming services including Netflix, YouTube, Pandora. It features support for Precision Quartz Lock System (PQLS) Bit-Stream Multi-Channel for minimum jitter playing Blu-ray, DVD, CD, when used with a compatible Pioneer PQLS AV receiver via HDMI. The 3D Blu-ray player supports DLNA 1.5 for wireless media streaming from DLNA-enabled devices and two USB ports.
