JVC introduces a new Visualization Series projector, the DLA-VS2100U at 2010 FSEMC, an annual conference serving the flight simulation and training industry. Utilizing three D-ILA imagers, the DLA-VS2100U offers 1920×1080 full HD resolution, 20,000:1 contrast ratio. It is equipped with a 220W UHP lamp that delivers 1000 ANSI lumens.
The full HD JVC DLA-VS2100U comes with two HDMI and a VGA inputs, supporting 1080p/60 and 1080p/50 video formats. The projector provides horizontal and vertical lens shift for installation flexibility and gets a 1.4-2.8:1 zoom lens. It will be released in February 2011. JVC will also launch the lens-less model – DLA-VS2100NL.
