Toshiba announced the new StorE TV+ multimedia hard drive, which is basically a HD media player with internal hard drive up to 2TB. The device supports a wide range of media formats and offers Full HD output via HDMI output.
The StorE TV+ is internet-ready offering an Ethernet LAN port and a USB wireless dongle. It also offers two USB 2.0 ports for external storage and a 3-in-1 card reader for SD, MMC and MS memory cards. The player also has component video output and comes with a remote control.
Toshiba StorE TV+ HD media player will be released in September in the UK. 2TB model costs GBP199.99. The company will also release the StorE D10 external hard drive with eSATA in Q4 2010.
