Toshiba and Intel have partnered to introduce in Japan the CM1 tablet PC, a rebadged version of Intel’s Classmate PC NL2. Toshiba’s CM1 (model CM1/PACM112MNEE) is designed for Japanese education market and will be released in early August 2010.
Boosted by Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz CPU, the CM1 tablet packs 2GB of RAM, 160GB hard drive. It has a rotatable 10.1-inch pressure-sensitive touchscreen with 1366×768 resolution and LED-backlit. You can expect WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n connectivity, a webcam, stereo speakers, microphone and a carry handle.
