Toshiba announced in Japan three new Regza series LCD HDTVs with LED-backlit, including theZ1, RE1 and HE1. All these Regza TVs are equipped with HDTV tuners and DVR functionality for recording TV shows.
The flagship Regza Z1 features DVR recording to USB storage devices and NAS server over Ethernet LAN. The RE1 supports USB recording and the HE1 adds 500GB internal hard drive. These Regza HDTVs are based on IPS LCD panel offering 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio and the Z1 and RE1 (37-inch screen size or above) both sport Full HD 1920x1080p resolution.
