Asus’ new Eee PC Seashell 1005PE netbook is now available at Amazon starting at $327.75. The 1005PE is powered by an Intel Atom N450 processor, 1GB of RAM, integrated graphics and a 250GB hard drive.
It comes with a 10.1-inch 1024×600 LCD display, 0.3 Megapixel webcam, card reader, chiclet keyboard and support for WiFi 802.11b/g/n. It comes with a 6-cell battery or high-capacity 6-cell for up to 11 hours or 14 hours of battery life. There is also Seashell 1005P that gets 160GB hard drive.
Actually, the 1005PE has similar configurations as the Eee PC 1001P, but the latter comes with a matte display, a tradidtion keyboard, WiFi without n and a latticework chassis.
