Lenovo adds to its tablet lineup a new consumer-oriented tablet with Windows 8. The Miix is a 10.1-inch tablet with a quick-flip detachable folio case with integrated AccuType keyboard that allows you to switch between PC mode and tablet mode instantly. The device is powered by an dual-core Intel Atom processor and gets 64GB of onboard eMMC storage.
The Miix tablet has a 10.1-inch 1366×768 IPS touchscreen and supports Bluetooth, WiFi and optional 3G and GPS. Measuring just 0.4-inch thin, it weighs just 1.2 pounds. You can expect up to 10 hours of battery life.
Lenovo is planning to release the Miix later this summer starting at about $500.
