Asus officially announced the new Eee PC 1201N multimedia netbook sporting an Intel Atom 330 dual core processor and NVIDIA’s ION graphics processor. The 1201N is stylish, slim and lightweight. It has 2GB/3GB of DDR2 RAM and a 200GB/320GB hard drive.
The Eee PC 1201N comes with a 12.1-inch 1366×768 LED-backlit display and supports Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity. Other features include a 0.3 Megapixel webcam, stereo speakers, multi-in-one card reader, HDMI port and built-in microphone. The netbook comes pre-installed with ArcSoft SimHD, which upscales standard definition video content to high definition.
Asus Eee PC 1201N runs Windows 7. It comes in Black, Silver, Blue and Red and will start at $499.
