Finally, iRiver releases its first e-book reader, the Story, which actually looks a bit lit Amazon’s Kindle 2, and come both with a full QWERTY keyboard. The reader is slim at just 9.4mm thick. It features a 8-inch e-ink display with 600×800 resolution and 2GB internal storage capacity.
The iRiver Story supports PDF, EPUB, TXT, PDF, DOC, PPT, XLS, HWP e-book files and there is a Comic Viewer for viewing JPG, BMP, GIF images in a ZIP file. The e-ink device can also playback MP3, WMA and OGG audio files. There are USB 2.0 connector and a SD/SDHC card slot.
The 2GB iRiver Story reader is priced at 349,000 Korean Won.
