Alongside the ProBook 5310m, HP introduces another 13.3-inch notebook, the Pavilion dm3. It can be equipped with either Intel Core 2 Duo or AMD Neo dual core processors. Users can also choose from onboard Intel graphics, ATI or NVIDIA dedicated graphics cards.
When configured with the AMD Neo and ATI combination, the HP Pavilion dm3 offers PowerXpress, which provides performance graphics when plugged in and switches to shared graphics when unplugged for superb battery life. The device is less than 1-inch tin and weighs 4.2 pounds and has a lightweight, brushed aluminum chassis
The Pavilion dm3 has a 13.3-inch HD BrightView LED display and supports WiFi and optional WWAN connection. There is also a low-light VGA HP webcam and up to 500GB hard drive. The dm3 is preloaded with HP MediaSmart software, the dm3 makes managing and enjoying digital music, Internet TV, videos, photos and other content fast and easy.
HP Pavilion dm3 starts at $549 with an AMD processor and $649 with an Intel processor. It will be available on 22 October with Windows 7.
