Pioneer Japan announced the DVR-XD09J, a new portable 8X DVD SuperMulti writer that will be released in early-July. The burner can write DVD+R and DVD-R at up to 8X, DVD+RW at 8X, DVD+/-R DL at 6X, DVD-RAM at 5X and CD-RW at 24X.
Pioneer DVR-XD09J has 2MB cache memory and uses USB 2.0 interface. It’s slim at just 14.8mm and weighs just 240g.
