Dell has officially announced the new Latitude XT2, which is the first tablet PC to have multi-touch technology. The 12.1-inch Latitude XT2 is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo ULV SU9300 1.2GHz or SU9400 1.4GHz processor, up to 5GB of RAM, integrated Intel GMA 4500MHD video card, 80GB/120GB hard drive or up to 128GB SSD for storage.
The Latitude XT2 has a 12.1-inch 1280×800 LED-backlit multi-touch display with EM Digitizer pen. It supports WiFi, and Bluetooth connecitivity and includes an ExpressCard slot, a SD card slot, optional fingerprint reader. The 12.1-inch XT2 has a USB2.0/eSATA combo port.
The starting price of Dell Latitude XT2 is $2399. Users can find also EV-DO or HSDPA 3.5 modules on some models.
