Asus M50Vm-A1WM WiMAX Notebook

Asus officially introduces the new M50Vm-A1WM, we have mentioned previously, which is the company’s first WiMAX-enable laptop PC. M50Vm-A1WM is now available in Baltimore, where Sprint’s XOHM is launched. Like other WiMAX (or XOHM) notebooks, Asus’ M50Vm-A1WM packs the combined WiMAX/Wi-Fi module, previously codenamed “Echo Peak,” allows consumers to experience HD content with high-fidelity audio, anywhere and anytime.

The news M50Vm-A1WM is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 2.26GHz processor, 250GB hard drive and a NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GS graphics card with 1GB dedicated video memory. It features a 15.4-inch 1440×900 Color Shine LCD display, integrated Altec Lasing speakers and is HDMI ready.

The M50Vm-A1WM is priced at $1399 USD.
