HTC officially announced the Touch PDA phone, which is previously know as Elf. The phone has a compact form factor that fits well in on hand. Powered by a TI OMAP 850 201MHz processor and 64MB of RAM, it runs Windows Mobile 6 Professional operating system and features HTC’s new TouchFLO user interface to deliver a new touchscreen experience.
The Touch sports a 2.8-inch touchscreen display with 240×320 resolution and a 2 Megapixel camera. Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity are included. It has 128MB of ROM and comes with a 1GB microSD memory card. The 1100mAh battery offers up to 5 hours of talk time and 200 hours of standby.
HTC’s Touch supports tri-band GSM/EDGE network. Coming in elegant soft black or alluring wasabi green colors, the smartphone is now available in the UK, and will be released later in Asia and America.
