Following the successful HTC One, the Taiwanese phone maker has announced the HTC One mini. Featuring the same design as the original One, the mini version comes in a more compact form factor and is positioned as a mid-range device. Yet, it includes many of the features and technologies found on the HTC One, including BlinkFeed, Zoe and the front-facing BoomSound stereo speaker.
The One mini has a smaller touchscreen at 4.3-inch with 720p resolution that is ideal for single-hand operation. It features the same slim design and aluminium unibody. The handset is powered by a Qualcomm SnapDragon 400 dual-core 1.4GHz processor and 1GB of RAM. It sports the same UltraPixel camera with BSI sensor, ImageChip 2 and F2.0 aperture and 28mm lens. The camera is capable of 1080p Full HD video recording with HDR Video. Its 1.6 Megapixel front-facing camera can capture 720p video. Connectivity include GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, DLNA. 16GB onboard storage is available and a microSD card slot is provided.
The One mini will be available in Glacial Silver and Stealth Black.
