Along with the new 5-inch flagship Butterfly S, HTC also adds to the Desire line another new member, the Desire 600 Dual SIM. As its name tells, the handset comes with dual-SIM capabilities that allow users to use two numbers, say one for business and one for personal, on the same device. HTC’ also adds BoomSound front-facing speakers and Beats Audio to the handset.
The Desire 600 is boosted by a quad-core 1.2Ghz SnapDragon 200 processor with 1GB of RAM. It runs Android Jelly Bean with Sense 5 and BlinkFeed for live news update. The 8 Megapixel camera comes with LED flash and F2.0 aperture and does 720p video recording, and the 1.6 Mpix front camera also gets BSI sensor. While HTC Zoe is not included, the phone does offer functions to create video highlights and slow motion video recording.
For connectivity, it includes all you can expect – WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, DLNA. 8GB internal storage is available and a microSD is provided for expansion. The mid-range Desire will be available in Russia, Ukraine, Middle East in June.
