Sprint is launching two new Windows Phone 8 smartphones for its 4G LTE networks. The HTC 8XT will be another ideal choice for music lovers, featuring the BoomSound front-facing stereo speakers with a dedicated amplifier. It also includes Beats Audio to deliver studio-grade sound. The phone looks similar to HTC’s original 8X but has received some minor design tweaks.
The 8XT is powered by a Qualcomm SnapDragon 400 dual-core processor running at 1.4GHz and 1GB of RAM. Its 4.3-inch touchscreen has a 800×480 resolution, lower than 1280×720 of the 8X. You can find the same 8 Megapixel main camera with LED flash, and a slightly lower resolution 1.6 Megapixel camera on the front. Bluetooth, GPS, WiFi are all included.
The 4G Windows Phone comes with 8GB of internal storage and supports microSD up to 64GB. It will be available for $99.99 with 2-year contract after $50 mail-in rebate.
