Dopod announced the U1000 PDA phone. Well, it looks exactly the same as the T-Mobile’s Ameo or the HTC Athena. Yes, they are just the same device come with different brand and model.
In case you don’t know, Dopod is actually the brand used by HTC in the Greater China markets covering Hong Kong, Taiwan, Mainland China..etc.
The Dopod U1000 has the same config as the Ameo and Athena and I will just mention some here. It features the Intel Intel PXA270 624MHz CPU, a 5-inch LCD diaplay, 8GB Hard drive, HSDPA..etc.
