Other than the Apple iPhone, Apple also announced the a TV settop box Apple TV at the MacWorld 2007. The Apple TV has an Intel processor and a 40GB of hard drive and it supports both Mac and Windows. It basically brings Apple’s iTunes store to your HDTV, offering access to over 250 feature-length movies and 350 TV shows in near DVD quality; four million songs, 5,000 music videos, 100,000 podcasts and 20,000 audiobooks.
The Apple TV supports AirPort WiFi 802.11n wireless connectivity and Ethernet LAN. It provides HDMI, component video, optical audio and analog audio outputs. Coming in February, the box is priced at $299.
