Toshiba launches in Japan its new EXCERIA PRO series of high performance CompactFlash memory cards designed for use on DSLR cameras. Featuring Toshiba’s high-performance NAND flash memory and specially developed dedicated firmware, the world’s fastest CF cards provide up to 160MB/s read and 150MB/s write speeds.
The new EXCERIA PRO is compliant with CompactFlash Specification Revision 6.1 and CF+ standards and compatible with UDMA7 interface. It also complies with the new Video Performance Guarantee Profile 2 (VPG-65), meaning it is able to handle Full HD video recording at high frame rate and is ready for 4K movie recording. There are 16GB, 32GB and 64GB models.
Toshiba has already released its new line of CF cards in Japan and will release later in Asia, Europe and North America.
