Sigma 18-35mm F1.8 DC HSM Lens offers F.18 throughout Zoom Range
Sigma adds to its lens range the new 18-35mm F1.8 DC HSM, which is the world’s first lens offering an aperture of F1.8 throughout the zoom range. As the flagship of the company’s Art line, the lens is built to deliver top-level image quality. It is equipped with Hypersonic motor (HSM) for a fast AF speed and quiet performance.
Sigma’s new large-aperture APS-C format standard zoom lens features a rear focus system to prevent focus-dependent variation in aberration, making high-level image quality possible throughout the entire image. It also gets Super Multi-Layer Coating to reduce flare and ghosting to deliver sharp and high contrast images. The lens has a high-prevision rugged brass mount.
Pricing has not been announced, but we won’t expect a low price. It will be available for Sigma, Nikon and Canon cameras.
