Sigma’s SD15 digital SLR camera is now available in the US. As the successor to the SD14, the new SD15 sports a 14 Megapixel Foveon X3 direct image sensor, TRUE II image processing engine, 77-segment AE sensor and AFE (Analog Front End), built-in flash with 17mm angle of coverage, a backlit top LCD panel and a 3-inch color LCD display.
The Sigma SD15 offers 5-point Auto Focus, four metering modes, ISO from 50 to 3200, two motor systems to prevent camera shake and dust protector. The DSLR supports RAW recording. The SD15 is available for $989.00.
