Micron Technology introduces its new P410m enterprise-grade SAS solid state drives. Targeted at data center appliances and enterprise storage platforms, the new series of SSD provides consistent low latency and balanced read/write performance to tackle the workloads of mission-critical tier 1 storage applications that require uninterrupted, 24/7 data access.
The high endurance P410m features Micron’s Extended Performance and Enhanced Reliability Technology (XPERT), architecture to extend performance and enhances drive life span and data integrity. It is built to achieve 10 drive fills per day for five years and includes multiple data protection features, including onboard power loss protection. The drive provides up to 410MB/s read and 345MB/s write speeds.
The P410m uses 6Gbps SAS interface with support for dual-port architectures and comes in 2.5-inch 7mm form factor. Based on 25nm MLC NAND flash technology, the drive is available in 100GB, 200GB and 400GB capacities.
