The CoolPix S2700 is another new addition to Nikon’s CoolPix S-series. Announced along with the 12x zoom S6500, the S2700 comes equipped with a shorter range lens. To make photo shooting easy for first-time users, the camera provides extensive automatic shooting features.
Nikon’s S2700 is a slim and compact 16 Megapixelcamera equipped with a 6x optical zoom 26mm wide angle NIKKOR lens and EXPEED C2 image processor to deliver high-quality images. It includes Motion Detection to reduce image blur and Target Finding AF that automatically selects and focuses on the AF area according to subject movement. The camera is capable of 720p HD video recording.
The S2700’s Scene Auto Selecto will automatically selects the optimal scene mode for the subject or scene. Users can apply choice of Special Effects, including Soft, High key, Low key, Nostalgic sepia, Selective color and High-contrast monochrome, when shooting pictures or movies. You can also find in-camera for simple image adjustment and Filter Effects for adding creative touch.
Nikon’s CoolPix S2700 will be available in silver, black, red, purple and blue, as well as special Decorative Pink and Decorative Purple models that feature flower motifs on the front surface.
