Skullcandy launches its newest gaming headset, the PLYR2 that is the company’s first wireless model designed to offer gamers a wire-free gaming experience. Built to deliver “perfectly pitched audio and crystal clear voice chat”, the new headset works with Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, Mac as well as smartphones and tablets.
The PLYR2 features a GMX Stereo Transmitter for balancing of Game and Voice sound, Supreme Sound technology for precise highs and deeper lows, and three EQ Sound Modes – Bass Mode, Supreme Mode and Precision Mode designed specifically to enhance games, movies and music. The headset uses 2.4GHz wireless technology and comes with an adjustable boom mic with quick flip-up instant mute
The Skullcandy PLYR2 is available now in black, white and teal for $129.99. The firm will also release the PLYR1 with 2.4Ghz wireless audio and Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound in early 2013.
