Toshiba enters the cloud storage space with the introduction of Canvio Personal Cloud, a network attached storage hub that offers remote access. The networked Canvio connects to your home network and serves as a centralized file sharing and storage hub. Using the Canvio Link software for Windows or Canvio Link apps for Android and iOS, you can easily access and stream content stored on the Canvio Personal Cloud at home or on the go via an Internet connection.
Toshiba’s Canvio Personal Cloud comes in 2TB or 3TB storage capacities. It is easy to setup and works with all Windows PCs, Android/iOS-based tablets and smartphones, as well as DLNA-compatible devices. It has a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port for connection to your home network. It has a USB port for direct access from a computer.
The network attached Canvio is priced at $219.99 for 2TB and $249.99 for 3TB.
