Mad Catz is launching its new TRITTON PRO+ True 5.1 surround sound gaming headset. To deliver true 5.1-channel surround sound with sound separation and improved bass response, each earcup of the headset packs four Neodynium drivers – front, center, surround and subwoofer. The headset comes with a Dolby Digital decoder box to handle connections and sound enhancement, creating a detailed, 3D Directional sound for your gaming experience. The headset works with Sony’s PS3 and Microsoft’s Xbox 360 gaming systems.
The TRITTON PRO+ 5.1 also gets an in-line Remote that allows you to adjust the volume level of each of the four drivers. The remote also has a switch for Selectable Voice Monitoring (SVM) feature, which allows users to choose if they hear their own voice in the headset. Its microphone is removable for flexibility. For comfort during long gaming sessions, the PRO+ 5.1 features padded, adjustable headrail, soft, pliable earcups that can swivel to provide a comfortable around-the-neck resting position.
