Fujitsu reveals the STYLISTIC Q702, its new business hybrid tablet with 11.6-inch AH-IPS HD 1366×768, dual digitizer, multi-touch display for pen or touch input. Like Asus’ Transformer Pad, the Q702 comes as a tablet and can be attached to the optional keyboard dock, transforming into a notebook with USB and VGA connectivity. As Fujitsu said, the hybrid is ideal for use healthcare, education, retail POS, insurance and anywhere where a tablet is the preferred solution.
The STYLISTIC Q702 is boosted by Intel’s Ivy Bridge 3rd Gen Core i3 or i5 processor, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000. It comes with 64GB or 128GB mSATA SSD and has a SD/SDHC expansion slot. The tablet has a rear camera and a front-facing camera and dual microphone for video chat. Bluetooth and WiFi are available and 3G/LTE mobile connectivity are optional. Other features include accelerometer, gyrometer, magnetometer, and ambient light sensors, as well as USB 2.0/3.0 port and HDMI output. The keyboard dock adds a keyboard, a removable 4-cell battery, additional USB port, VGA output and Ethernet LAN port for the tablet.
The Fujitsu STYLISTIC Q702 is Windows 8 ready and will be launched with Windows 7 Professional. It weighs about 1.88 pounds. The tablet will be released in Q3 starting at $1099.
