Timbuk2 is launching two power-charging messenger bags, the Power Commute and Power Q. Built in partnership with Joey Energy, both bags sport Joey T1 Power Supply in a dedicated pocket on the inside for chargeing virtually any USB-powered devices.
The Power Commute is a TSA-compliant messenger bag. It has laptop compartment for 15-inch notebooks (and 17-inch MacBook) and dedicated pockets for your phone, iPad and laptop charger. There are also weather-proof ports to thread charger cable to iPad pocket or phone pocket. The bag features removable shoulder strap so you can carry as a briefcase or messenger.
The Power Q also has a tricot-lined side access compartment that fits most 15-inch laptops, and dedicated pocket for laptop charger and accessories. It features ventilated back panel to provide breathing room, and custom-fit strap design for more comfortable fit.
Priced at $199, both Power Commute and Power Q will come in Black, Gunmetal and Algae Green.
