Akitio announced its new Neutrino U3+ (model SK2-BU3OS-AKT) enclosure for 2.5-inch SATA hard drive. The box supports 2.5-inch SATA I/II hard drives (9.5mm or 12.5mm height) with up to 1TB capacity, and provides USB 3.0, and two FireWire 800 ports. It is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and FireWire 400.
