Eurocom announced its Monster 1.0, a 11.6-inch ultraportable notebook intended to deliver high performance, which weighs just 3.96 lbs (1.8kg) with battery. Powered by Intel’s Ivy Bridge platform up to Core i7-3920XM, the notebook can be equipped with up to 16GB of DDR3 RAM and up to either 1TB of hard drive or 600GB Intel SSD. It sports NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M graphics card with 2GB video memory to handle graphics.
The 11.6-inch screen of the Monster 1.0 features 1366×768 resolution. Not just for gamers, Eurocom also targets at mobile professionals, stating that the Monster is able to run up to 8 virtual machine and can be used for mobile server and development. The notebook supports Bluetooth and WiFi and provides two USB 3.0 ports, HDMI 1.4a output, VGA out. Its battery offers up to 410 minutes of use.
