At the WWDC, Apple previewed its upcoming iOS 6, which will include Apple’s own mapping services instead of relying on Google Maps. The new Maps application gets a new user interface and includes turn-by-turn direction. The icon has also been changed to reflect the new turn-by-turn feature. Funny enough, the icon actually gives a wrong turn, as discovered by a twitter user – james mountain, which will make you drive off a bridge and kill yourself.

Other than this, the iOS 6 Maps also “confuses Greenland for the Indian Ocean, the Indian Ocean for the Arctic Ocean, the middle of Africa for the North Pacific, and the southern ocean for the North Atlantic.”
