Denon DJ launches its latest SC2900 DJ controller and media player designed for both professional and club DJs. The device features a 7-inch Touch Sensitive ‘Eclipse’ Platter with LED Cue and Position Marker and is equipped with Burr Brown 24 bit DAC for audio processing. Other than built-in CD player for playback of audio CD, the SC2900 also has USB port for media playback from USB storage device. It also supports media playback from networked computers, and users can semalessly switch between media sources. It supports AAC, AIFF, MP3, WAV formats. There is also ability to share a USB drive over up to four networked Denon DJ SC2900 or SC3900s.
As an ‘Engine Inside’ DJ device, the Denon SC2900 is fully compatible with ENGINE Music Management software that offers DJs high speed access and control over their digital music libraries. Of course it also works with the ENGINE for iPad app means that a networked iPad for easy file searching and player status display. The SC2900 is also natively supported by Traktor 2 software and comes with Tracktor LE2 2. The DJ controller/player also has built-in USB/MIDI control function and 4-Way BPM counter (Auto BPM, Manual TAP, Manual BPM, Reads BPM Metadata).
Denon DJ will release the SC2900 in July for Euro 800.
