At the Computex 2012, RunCore announced the new Pro VI 2.5-inch 7mm solid state drive which is said to provide higher and more stable performance than the predecessor Pro V 2.5-inch 7mm SSD. With a 2.5-inch 7mm form factor, the slim Pro VI is intended for use on slim notebooks, including the Ultrabook. It uses SATA III 6Gbps interface and boasts JMicron controller.
RunCore’s Pro VI comes with 32MB of cache memory and is available in capacities ranging from 32GB to 512GB. It delivers over 550MB/s read and 380MB/s write speeds and up to 80000/60000 randoom read/write IOPS. There are built-in ECC, TRIM support, wear-leveling Algorithm Technology.
