As the follow-up to the Portégé Z835, Toshiba’s new Portégé Z935 Ultrabook keeps the title as the world’s lightest 13.3-inch Ultrabook. At a slim 0.63-inch (15.9 mm) profile, the laptop weighs less than 2.5 pounds. It is ‘built with a light, yet durable magnesium alloy casing reinforced with a Honeycomb Rib design that provides shock absorption and increased rigidity.’
The Z935 sports the Intel 3rd gen Core i3/i5/i7 Ivy Bridge processor and up to 8GB of RAM. It is equipped with 128GB or 256GB mSATA solid state drive to deliver faster file ccess. It comes with a 13.3-inch 1366×768 LED-backlit display and supports Intel Wireless Display (WiDi) technology. There is also HDMI output and VGA output connectors. Other features include WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, HD webcam, memory card slot, spill-resistant LED-backlit keyboard, USB 3.0 port and a USB 2.0 port with Sleep and Charge.
