RunCore introduces the InVincible Solid State Drive with data security features, including physical self-destruction, to protect your data. It is not uncommon that you have stored important data in a drive and you want to protect hem from third party access. RunCore’s new SSD offers two ways, both work in just a single click.
To protect sensitive data, the InVincible’s Intelligent Destruction overwrite the entire disk with meaningless code, ensuring data recovery is not possible. Another method, Physical Destruction goes even further. By applying an over-current to the NAND flash memory, the drive self-destruct physically. The self-destruction InVincible SSD uses SATA II interface and delivers up to 240MB/s read and 140MB/s write speeds. According to RunCore, the SSD is intended for embedded computer systems and is an optimized storage options for mission-critical fields such aerospace, military and general industrial applications. It comes in MLC and SLC options and is able to operate in wide temperature range.
