Nikon’s new CoolPix S30 is a rugged compact digital camera targeted at families. The new camera is shock resistant to withstand falls from heights of up to 80 cm; dust resistant; and waterproof up to three-meters. With the S30, parents can preserve priceless memories of their babies easily. It has three large buttons, movie-record, shutter release and power, at the top and four flexible buttons on the back of the camera for adjusting and applying camera settings easily.
The 10.1 Megapixel CoolPix S30 comes with a 3x optical zoom lens and a 2.7-inch LCD display. Serveral functions are included for users to add creative touches to images, including color adjustment, decorate picutre by adding a frame around images, special effects, six filter effects such as Soften, Highlight color, Starbursts Fisheye effect. It can record 720p HD movie and has in-camera slideshow function. If you want to share videos and slideshows with your friends or families, the HDMI output of the S30 makes it easy.
