OCZ Technology expands its PCI Express solid state drive lineup with the new RevoDrive 3 Max IOPS and RevoDrive 3 X2 Max, supporting workstation users that require greater transactional throughput and bandwidth.
The RevoDrive 3 Max IOPS abd X2 Max IOPS combine PCI Express architecture and OCZ proprietary Virtualized Controller Architecture (VCA) 2.0 flash virtualization layer with premium MLC NAND flash components to deliver exceptional 4KB random write performance of up to 140,000 IOPS and 245,000 IOPS, respecitvely. The former provides up to 1025MB/s read and 950MB/s write speeds while the X2 offers 1900MB/s read and 1725MBs/ write performance.
OCZ’s workstation-class PCIe SSDs use PCI-Express Gen. 2 x4 interface and support 128-bit and 256-bit AES-compliant data encryption. The RevoDrive 3 Max IOPS comes in 120GB to 480GB capacities and RevoDrive 3 X2 Max IOPS edition in 240GB to 960GB capacities.
